There is an option to extend the contract by a further seven years based on the successful delivery of the initial seven-year term, worth up to a total value of £730 million.

We’re working alongside the County Council of East Sussex to maintain the County’s highway network and infrastructure, including roads, pavements, drainage, street lights, traffic lights and bridges. In addition, we will also provide winter gritting services and deliver highway improvement schemes.

Building on the success of our ‘Operational Control Hubs’ in Herefordshire and Southampton, a new facility in East Sussex is using the latest in innovative technologies and systems designed in-house to provide a single source of visibility to monitor all activities in real-time, track progress of works and enable data-driven decision making to drive efficiencies across the network.
